The agritourism resort Marandello is located in Sorbara, a typical emilian countryside town, just 13 Km from Modena.
The town although not particularly interesting as a tourist site is very well known due to its most famous product: the Lambrusco grapes from wich the sparkling and violet-profumed Lambrusco wine is made.

Our farm cultivates 10 hectares of D.O.C. vineyard using a biological method, rears dairy cows for the production of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, produces wheat , maize, soya sugar beet, fruits and vegetables, on a plot of land of 50 hectares divided into different estates: Chiesa, Bellicina, Provana and Marandello. Located close to the ancient Matildica of Sorbara church is the Chiesa estate where some hundred year old vineyards which survived the frost at the beginning of the century can be found.

Agritourism is practised on the Marandello estate which is composed of old farmhouses coloured Modena red, completely renovated and rendered welcoming in every respect.
